It has been said that ” Those who forget their history are doomed to relive it ! “ The same media who cheerleaded the ascendency of Barak Obama, has very successfully been replacing the truth about who and what is responsible for our current financial crisis, with disengenuous propagandada that is being widely accepted as the thuth.

Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac, under the direction of Franklin Raines and with the enabling of Congress, are what caused the housing bubble to burst! All the other toxic financial problems emerged from this catastrophe! Community groups like ACORN, together with Community Organizers, like Barak Obama were as responsible for the problem, as were greedy bankers and speculatators! The politicians are being given a pass! They not only had a part in having caused the problem in the first place, individuals like Chis Dodd and Barak Obama received sweetheart mortgage deals (bribes) from banks they had political dealings with!

Now the same individuals are coming back for another bite of the apple. They are giving our tax dollars to the same people that ought never have received mortgages in the first place!

There is a good chance that any ‘recovery’ as a result of this spending of our children’s money, will result in another bubble that will only burst when the deadbeats default once again!

” A Chicken in every Pot ” & ” Every Man a King “

President Obama’s speach last night reminded me of a combination of FDR and “The Kingfish” himself, Huey Long! Shrouded in his ambitious spending plans and promises to cure all the nation’s ills, including finding a cure for cancer, was the same old far left concept of spend…spend…spend!

For all of his talk of bipartisanship, one ought to remember that when President Bush proposed to work with Democrats to solve the social security problem, he got no help from them. We can expect now, that the Democrats will be nonnegotiable about their plans to reform both social security and medicare. After all, as the Democrats in Congress and Barak Obama himself said, THEY WON!

The Democrat’s in Congress also want a single payer healthcare system, which even candidate Barak Obama denounced in his criticism of “Hillarycare” , during the primary. When the Democrat Controlled Congress passes their single payer, socialized healthcare system, over the objections of most (but not all Republicans), who really believes that Obama would veto it, in spite of his campaign rhetoric!

With the Democrat’s passage of the economic stimulous bill and their refusal to allow any meaningful input from the Republicans, into this legislation, I have little hope for any future bipartisan legislation. Obama will continue to pretend to be bipartisan with his staged “events” while the Republican’s ideas are blocked!

Obama’s socialism is bad for America. His reaching out to the other side is just for appearences! His plans will burden this nation with unending debt and a new economic and social structure which I believe that most Americans would soundly reject, if they “connected the dots” and saw where Obama’s path is taking this nation!
